Apart from realism in showing detail, I aim to add something extra from the character of the individual, to make the painting come alive! I always try to create masterpiece of the highest standards.

It is a challenge to capture and show the moment, the look, the personality which is the dominant feature of the subject.
Apart from displaying the subject from the best perspective, I aim to show their personality by lighting, colours, moods, settings, real and artistic techniques.

I am trying, using classical elements, to create something that is timeless, a heirloom quality portrait. Painting in oils adds depth and breadth.

I would like images which speak to you, look back at you, images which can attract or repulse, which can smile or defy.
